01 / Why We Exist
The name comes from the umbilical cord—the biological lifeline that provides sustenance and guidance before birth.
In education, a similar principle applies. Students possess immense talent and capability from day one. Yet, when the time comes to make critical choices—selecting subjects, choosing colleges, or mapping career trajectories—the support system frequently vanishes.
While preparing for competitive examinations and entering medical college, our founder experienced a quiet crisis: students are forced to make irreversible, life-changing decisions using incomplete, confusing, or actively misleading information.

While navigating NEET preparation and entering medical college, Anshuman realized that students routinely make high-stakes life decisions using fragmented, unverified data.
Rather than accepting this inefficiency, he began writing software to bring structure and clarity to the process. He operates at the intersection of clinical study, systems architecture, and interface design.
He is obsessed with solving difficult engineering problems from first principles, learning continuously, and building tools directly alongside the students who rely on them.
